Art in the Library 2024

Winchester Public Library hosted an exhibit of artworks by members of the Winchester Artists Network throughout the month of May. All were welcome to attend the special Exhibit Reception on Saturday, May 11 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. The exhibition featured artwork from many artists living or working in Winchester. Art on view included oil paintings, acrylics paintings, pastels, watercolors, collage, photography, textile art, ceramics, and mixed media work.


The participating artists included Theodore Cantrell, Ellen Carlisle, Diane Rubino Davies, David Feigenbaum, Trish Gannon, Mary Grassi, Mary Hummon, David Hummon, Kristine Kamikawa, Carol K. Keller, Denise Konicek, Carolyn Latanision, Carolyn Swett Leaf, Ruth Lieberherr, John McConnell, Deb O’Brien, Carolyn Sirois, Jay Sullivan, Martina Werner, John M. Williams, Meg Steele Wingerath, and Kiyomi Yatsuhashi.


Check out the artists collective exhibit by the talented individuals of the Winchester Artists Network on view throughout the month of May at the Winchester Library. Be sure to explore all the spaces, from the lobby to the small conference room, main reading room, stairwell and upstairs!

Periodically, the Library makes opportunities available for artists to apply for solo shows at the Library through a competitive process as well.
